Cardiology Positions: Non-Invasive, Interventional & Electrophysiology
Seeking BE/BC cardiologists to join collegial, highly respected group of 14 at North Kansas City Hospital providing general cardiology with 5 interventionalists in busy STEMI program with over 800 interventions, 7 non-interventional cardiologists and 2 experienced, busy electrophysiologists. As part of our succession plan, over the next few years, we will be recruiting three cardiologists with the expertise and skills needed to complement the group. Physicians receive a salary guarantee with 8 weeks paid time off, pension profit-sharing retirement plan and more.
Solid referral base includes 59+ employed and 25+ independent primary care physicians. Established TAVR program, heart failure and anticoagulation clinics, as well as cardiac rehab seeing over 60 patients/day.
Inpatient services are provided at North Kansas City Hospital, an accredited chest pain center and 451-bed, level 2 trauma center with 23,000 admissions and 69,000 ER visits last year. Dedicated ICU for cardiovascular services/open hearts. Hospitalists admit and manage patients. Midlevels assist with consultative service. Cerner is hospital EMR.
This position is hospital employed through multi-specialty group, Meritas Health, a subsidiary of North Kansas City Hospital, comprised of 120 physicians.
