Dr. Hill is well known for his compassionate and conservative care of patients with mental illness. He believes that medication is just a small part in the treatment for these patients. Dr. Hill promotes common sense psychiatry which includes providing patients with as much information as possible about their illness. A commonly used statement is that “through more education, there would be less medication”. Dr. Hill’s mission is to take his message to the public regarding many misconceptions of mental illness, utilizing the same techniques to empower them as he has done with his own patients. This type of approach has led to Dr. Hill’s popularity as one of the most successful psychiatrists in the region.
In his free time he enjoys time with family and volunteers with the North Suburban Youth Football League. Dr Hill loves music and enjoys playing the guitar, piano and singing. He often plays at local venues.
