Meritas Health ENT (formerly Kansas City Metropolitan ENT) has proudly served the Northland and its surrounding communities for over fifty years, and has made it our mission to provide you with great service and quality care. ENT services can be provided to pediatric and adult patients. In order to better accommodate our patients, there are two convenient locations in the Northland: North Oak and North Kansas City Hospital campus.
At Meritas Health ENT, one of the most important aspects of treatment is being able to trust your physician. It is important that patients know who their doctor is, and what their physician’s experience and qualifications are.
Our board-certified physicians provide a wide range of services including surgical intervention for head and neck disorders. Some of the more common conditions treated by otolaryngologists are sinusitis, head and neck disorders, sleep apnea, and tonsil removal. Audiology services are also provided at both locations and includes ordering and fitting for hearing aids.
Monday – Thursday: 9:00am-4:30pm
All patients are seen by scheduled appointment. Same day appointments are often available for urgent problems. To schedule an appointment, call our office at 816.468.8820. We will gladly help you find an appointment time that is convenient for you.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow enough time to get pertinent information entered into your medical record and to verify your information. Be sure to bring your insurance information, as well as any appropriate medical records from referring physicians as well as any medications you are currently taking.
After Hours/Weekend Calls
Should you need urgent medical care after hours, please call our office telephone number at 816.468.8820 to reach the on-call doctor. Calls should be for emergency medical problems only. Medication refills will not be called into the pharmacy after hours or on weekends. You may also go directly to North Kansas City Hospital for evaluation and the hospital will contact the physician on-call.
Prescription Refill Requests
Should you require a refill on your current medication between appointments, please contact your pharmacy and request a refill. Your pharmacist will contact our office for approval. Refills will only be provided during normal business hours.
