Marie Willis, AuD, originally grew up in California and came to Kansas City in 2005 to obtain her doctorate at KU. While attending KU, she was a graduate teaching assistant and taught the course on audiologic assessment and rehabilitation throughout her entire time at the university. She was also extended the honor of assisting with the Audiology Clinic at Schiefelbusch for a semester's term. The final years of her educational career were spent examining ways to increase response amplitude in cases of sensorineural hearing loss via electrophysiologic measures in hopes of having a better means of accurately diagnosing hearing loss. She completed her doctoral degree in 2010.
When not at work, Dr. Willis and her husband like to spend time with their “furry” children. She enjoys learning new languages, traveling, playing piano and watching movies.
